Below are some pictures of a very nice Victrola model VV-XVI, serial number 36404C, spring motor phonograph with mahogany finish. This is the "L" door style manufactured about March, 1911. I cleaned and regreased the 3 springs, cleaned, oiled, and adjusted the governor, oiled the spindle and adjusted the spindle gear, rebuilt the gold Exhibition reproducer, and cleaned-oiled and waxed the cabinet. Now it plays loud and clear and looks pretty sharp. The only issue I wasn't able to fix was the pull out tray below the horn which sticks and only comes out about 4 inches. Still very happy with the way it turned out.
